  • Advise Nurse Telephone Access
  • Registered Nurse provides treatment advise following medically approved Algorithm
  • Report an Injury
  • Referral to proper level of Care

– Self Help Advice

– Referral to Telemedicine if appropriate and Client participates in this program

– Referral to Designated Clinic for the Client

– Referral to Medical Provider (MPN) or Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), if appropriate

  • Triage Report sent to Claims team, Employer represented, treating provider
  • Calls are recorded
  • Referral to telemedicine and clinic avoids simple injuries being escalated unnecessarily to the emergency room;
  • MPN referrals maintain treatment control —- all of which save workers’ compensation dollars.
