Sandra Souza Named Case Manager of the Year HONOLULU, HI, October 2005 – The Hawaii Chapter of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) selected Sandra (Sandy) Souza as co-recipient of the Case Manager of the Year award. Ms. Souza, Hawaii Operations Manager for Allied Managed Care Incorporated, is active in reaching out to members of the case management community and raising awareness about CMSA Hawaii.Born and raised in Hawaii, Sandy Souza is a graduate of Kailua High School and the University of Hawaii – Manoa, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). A passionate, client-centered health care professional for 30 years, Sandy Souza, a Licensed Registered Nurse and Certified Case Manager, had experience in a variety of health care positions with increasing responsibilities, including critical care nursing, utilization management coordinator, care management coordinator, and nurse case manager. In her role as Hawaii Operations Manager, she provides direction and structure for all Allied Managed Care Hawaii operating units, and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, productivity, compliance, training, and quality of those units. |
